Your Role and Responsibilities

The role will primarily focus on compensation, while also contributing to and supporting work and projects related to benefits. As a Compensation and Benefits Specialist, you will:

  • Support the development and governance of global compensation and benefits frameworks aligned with DNV's strategy and valued
  • Contribute to the annual compensation cycle, including salary reviews and incentive schemes
  • Prepare materials and analyses for the Compensation Committee, supporting executive remuneration processes
  • Play a key role in the administration and monitoring of employee profit-sharing programs and other incentive schemes
  • Conduct market analyses and benchmarking to ensure competitiveness and equity in compensation
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure consistent application of global practices
  • Participate in cross-functional projects related to compensation and benefits

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in the Compensation & Benefits area, including proven track record with incentive schemes and calculations
  • Experience with compensation management, especially managing workforce compensation processes and developing incentive schemes in large organizations
  • Familiarity with incentive schemes and salary benchmarking (e.g. Korn Ferry, Mercer)
  • Experience with executive compensation or governance-related processes is an advantage
Skills
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
  • Positive, curious and proactive attitude toward problem-solving
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • High ethical standards and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills in English; Norwegian is an advantage
