You will be working in the Cementation OU where for over a century, Cementation Skanska has been a trusted leader in piling and ground engineering. Our breadth of expertise spans every aspect of geotechnical engineering - from micro-piling to diaphragm walls - enabling us to deliver innovative solutions for the most complex challenges.

We are currently looking for a Senior Commercial Manager who willLead the commercial management of projects across multiple Business Streams and/or of Major Projects (as applicable) within Skanska's Cementation Operating Unit.

As the Senior Commercial Manager, you will:
  • Responsible for commercial input into business development and preconstruction activities for Business Stream(s)/projects
  • Responsible for commercial management of projects in delivery through to close-out and in respect of any legacy issues.
  • Liaison with other stakeholders/functional groups to maintain and improve delivery of commercial management activities
  • Provide support and training for Commercial and non-Commercial staff on commercial and contract issues.
  • Be familiar with, and demonstrate commitment to the requirements of the Health & Safety, Wellbeing and Environmental Policies
  • Ensure appropriate resources, processes and systems are in place to ensure preparation and implementation of commercial strategies in support of capture plans/bid win strategies.
  • Ensure appropriate resources, processes and systems are in place to ensure accurate management of costs - including internal plant, labour and equipment and external costs such as materials, sub-contractors and consultants.
We are looking for:
  • A comprehensive level of commercial and contract experience
  • Experience in various forms of contract
  • BSc or HND in Quantity Surveying or other equivalent construction related subject
  • Preferably qualified to RICS accreditation
