Gleeds Energy seeks experienced Commercial Managers for our Nuclear New Build team, involved in constructing Britain's newest nuclear power stations, Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C. These projects are crucial for Britain's energy independence, economic growth, and energy transition towards sustainability.
As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will own and manage commercial relationships within your portfolio, acting as the primary contact for supply chain and contractual matters, collaborating proactively with stakeholders across levels within a multidisciplinary team.

About You
What we are looking for in our next Senior Commercial Manager
Experience
- Relevant experience in construction procurement and commercial management. Experience in the Nuclear, Civil Engineering, or Engineering sectors is desirable but not essential.
- Proven ability to operate within complex major projects in both procurement and post-procurement phases.
- Broad technical knowledge of Procurement, Supply Chain, Cost, and Commercial Management, including familiarity with standard contracts like FIDIC, NEC, and Public Contract Regulations 2015. Personal attributes such as communication skills, ambition, drive, and energy are highly valued.
Qualifications
- HNC, HND, or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction Law, or related disciplines. Candidates with engineering backgrounds may also be considered.
- Membership of RICS, CIOB, CICES, CIPS, or similar is desirable and supported if not yet attained.
