Senior Commercial Finance Manager

Overview

Senior Commercial Finance Manager - Permanent - Remote - £60,000 - £70,000 per annum. Our client, a leading organisation in their sector, is seeking a Senior Commercial Finance Manager to join their commercial finance team. This is an opportunity to shape financial strategy, provide expert guidance on major procurement projects, and lead a team to deliver insight that drives value for money across high-profile programmes. Location: Remote (UK-based)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage financial analysis for high-value procurement activities.
• Assess supplier financial health and support commercial negotiations.
• Design and oversee payment models, financial evaluations, and investment appraisals.
• Provide strategic commercial finance advice to senior stakeholders.
• Build and lead a small team, driving open-book contract management and best practice.
• Present financial insights that influence senior decision-making.

Key Essentials

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW, CIPFA, ICAS, or equivalent).
• Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing people and projects.
• Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to turn numbers into compelling insights.
