Job Description
Our client, a MARKETING business based near ST PAULS STATION, is seeking an accomplished a SNR COMMERCIAL FINANCE MANAGER to join them whilst they begin their next exciting growth phase. This is an incredible time to join this amazing business who really value their staff.
THE ROLE
- Serve as a finance business partner collaborating with the Assistant FD and agency while managing the business unit P&L, ensuring alignment
- Partner with agency leadership to develop precise full-year P&L budgets, revenue forecasts, and monthly flash updates.
- Work alongside the UK&I Reporting Team to provide variance analysis
- Liaise with the Financial Control Team to escalate agency-related financial concerns, such as overdue debt and unbilled media.
- Support the creation of PowerBI dashboards that clarify forecasts and budgets for Executive Leadership.
- Assess revenue growth risks and targets while collaborating with the business to implement strong cost control measures.
- Co-lead monthly revenue review meetings with key stakeholders alongside the Commercial Finance Manager.
- Partner with the Management Accountant (Reporting Team) to ensure accurate staff allocations
- Compile and present a monthly management information pack, including year-to-date P&L performance against budget and forecasts, a P&L flash update, and a debtors/WIP/unbilled media summary for escalation.
- Conduct client profitability analyses and provide regular updates to senior agency teams.
- Work alongside business leads to maintain profitability or develop improvement strategies where necessary.
- Assist with contract management by supporting the FD and agency leads in reviewing contracts, assessing scopes, analysing timesheets, preparing fee proposals, and issuing operational guidance
- Oversee the onboarding process for new clients, including credit insurance setup and system integration.
- Provide guidance and leadership to two direct reports
SKILLS REQUIRED
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
- Proven experience in commercial finance and business partnering.
- Strong people management skills.
- Experience with Hyperion (preferred).
- Media industry experience (preferred).
- Advanced Excel.
