As a member of the Legal team and working from our London office, you'll play a key role in Snap's commercial transactions and advise teams throughout the company globally on legal issues spanning the breadth of Snap's products and services. What you'll do: Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret agreements covering a range of Snap's commercial activities around the world, with a focus on Snap's strategic partnerships in the telecoms, AI, AR, hardware, and adtech sectors Analyse and advise on complex cross-border issues related to data privacy, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, net neutrality, technology and platform integrations (including SDK, API, and data licensing), hardware and software distribution, and co-promotional partnerships Provide tactical and strategic advice to Snap business and product leaders related to commercial transactions Assist in creating and improving templates, online terms, policies, and processes for Snap as we develop new products and enter new markets Collaborate with leaders across Snap to understand and support business priorities while influencing business strategy and appropriately mitigating legal risk Coordinate cross-functionally with colleagues from every part of the company Handle other commercial projects at the discretion of the leads of the Snap legal commercial team Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent analytical, communication, organisational, negotiation, and drafting skills Excellent legal and business judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously Ability to drive collaboration and share knowledge and expertise Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation Ability to accommodate tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Ability to identify and resolve legal issues quickly Ability to work across multiple time zones and jurisdictions Minimum Qualifications: Qualified, practising solicitor or equivalent with excellent academic credentials 8+ years of post-qualification experience practising law in-house or at a law firm Preferred Qualifications: 6+ years of experience advising on commercial technology transactions, ideally with a focus on strategic partnerships in-house at an internet, media, telecoms, or technology company Experience working for or with companies in the telecom industry, e.g., OEMs, carriers, mobile platforms, and network solutions Experience advising technology companies on B2C regulatory, product regulatory, and/or data privacy issuesIf you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please don't be shy and provide us some ."Default Together" Policy at Snap: At Snap Inc. we believe that being together in person helps us build our culture faster, reinforce our values, and serve our community, customers and partners better through dynamic collaboration.
