Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end sourcing projects independently, ensuring adherence to public procurement legislation and internal governance.

  • Engage proactively with stakeholders to define requirements, develop ITT documentation, run tenders, manage evaluation processes, and oversee contract award and mobilisation.

  • Provide authoritative commercial guidance and support to Business Partnering areas across Digital and Corporate Services.

  • Manage and deliver Variation requests in line with relevant procurement regulations, involving consultation with GLD and other specialists where required.

  • Maintain accurate and timely updates across internal systems, reporting tools, and commercial trackers.

  • Oversee and update commercial pipelines, ensuring visibility of risks, priorities, and milestones.

  • Support team planning and operational organisation, helping to balance workload across the commercial team.

  • Demonstrate proactive risk management, identifying compliance issues early and recommending effective mitigations.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Demonstrable experience in public sector procurement, ideally within Digital, Corporate Services, or similar categories.

  • Proven ability to lead procurement projects independently from initiation to contract award.

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams under tight timelines.

  • Experience drafting commercial documentation, evaluation materials, and contract variations.

  • Strong organisational, analytical, and reporting capabilities.
