The Opportunity

A leading provider of Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) solutions is seeking a Senior CMMS Consultant to join its growing consulting team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong CMMS expertise with a genuine understanding of maintenance and asset management. The role will involve working directly with customers to implement, optimise and enhance maintenance systems, ensuring organisations maximise the value of their CMMS investment. The successful candidate will enjoy a high degree of autonomy and flexibility, managing their own schedule based on project requirements and customer needs.

The Role

Working across a variety of industries including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, manufacturing, food & beverage, healthcare and facilities management, you will partner with customers to improve their maintenance and asset management processes through effective use of CMMS technology. This is a consultative role rather than a support position. You will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, configuring solutions, advising on best practices and helping clients improve operational performance through better maintenance management. No two weeks will be the same. You may spend 3 - 5 days at customer sites delivering workshops and optimisation projects, while other weeks may be a blend of remote working, office-based activities and virtual customer meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead CMMS implementation and optimisation projects.
• Understand customer maintenance processes and business requirements.
• Configure and develop CMMS solutions to meet client needs.
• Facilitate discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
• Advise customers on maintenance best practices and system utilisation.
• Support data migration, asset hierarchy development and system configuration.
• Deliver user training and encourage system adoption.
• Analyse maintenance performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Build trusted relationships with maintenance, engineering and operational stakeholders.
• Support customers in achieving greater reliability, compliance and operational efficiency.

About You

You will have a combination of technical system knowledge, maintenance domain expertise, personal demeanour and communication skills required to enable you to engage confidently with both engineering teams and senior decision-makers.

Essential Experience

• Experience working with a CMMS or EAM platform.
• Customer-facing consulting, implementation and optimisation experience.
• Strong understanding of maintenance and asset management principles.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.

Location & Travel

• Blended working model.
• Access to offices in Dublin and Cork.
• Candidates based in Munster, Midlands or Leinster are likely to be well-positioned for customer engagement requirements.

Travel to customer sites throughout Ireland will form part of the role, with occasional UK travel where required.
