Our client is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to drive cloud transformation, define architecture standards, and build the next generation of scalable, secure, and innovative cloud environments.

About the Role

As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the organization's cloud platform strategy. You will architect end-to-end solutions across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability, governance, security, and operational excellence.

You will work closely with engineering, data, and security teams to design cloud platforms, landing zones, reusable architectures, and enterprise-grade solutions that enable efficient cloud adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Platform Architecture & Strategy

• Define enterprise cloud architecture strategy across GCP and Azure, including multi-cloud governance frameworks and platform standards.
• Design scalable landing zones, account structures, subscription models, and organizational hierarchies.
• Architect advanced cloud networking solutions including VPC designs, hybrid connectivity, transit gateways, and global load balancing.
• Implement cloud cost optimization strategies leveraging committed use discounts, reserved instances, and FinOps methodologies.
• Develop cloud reference architectures, design patterns, and reusable templates to support common workload patterns.

• Networking: VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud CDN, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud VPN
• Data & Analytics: BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Bigtable
• AI/Machine Learning: Vertex AI, AutoML, TensorFlow on GCP, ML APIs
• DevOps & Reliability: Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, Cloud Deploy, Cloud Operations Suite

Microsoft Azure

• Compute & Containers: Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Container Apps, App Service
