Job Description
Senior Clinical Fellow - Orthopaedics (Upper Limb) 
Contract: Fixed term 12 months, Full time 40 hrs/week. Salary £61,542 - £99,216 plus London allowance. Closing date 16/02/2026.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first class clinical care within King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
- Lead clinical care and support junior staff through teaching and supervision.
- Maintain teaching, research, and audit activities in partnership with King's College London.
- Ensure compliance with Trust procedures, clinical governance and infection prevention policies.
- Cover 24/7 on call rota, including leave and sickness cover.
- Participate in MDT meetings, audits, morbidity and mortality reviews, and R&D programmes.
- Deliver outpatient clinic commitments and peripheral hospital coverage as agreed.
- MRCS licence and full GMC/GDC registration (License to Practice).
- Specialist SpR training in trauma and orthopaedics with evidence of day to day service organisation in a busy teaching hospital.
- Experience in clinical research, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and exam preparation.
- Strong commitment to clinical governance, audit, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and deliver high quality care.
Appointee must hold appropriate UK professional registration and will subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and Disclosure and Barring Service checks.
