Senior Clinical Fellow - Vascular

We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, expanding to 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.
This is a fixed-term, full-time vacancy for 12 months.
Applications are invited for a Clinical Fellow in Vascular Surgery based at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow, starting from 3rd August 2022 for a twelve-month period. This role offers focused experience and development in vascular surgery, with opportunities to develop a subspecialty interest.
The post involves attending theatre and clinics across several Glasgow hospitals, primarily inpatient work at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Training opportunities are available, and this post is approved for training by NES and recognized for training purposes.
To practice medicine in the UK, applicants must hold GMC registration and a license to practice.
- Applicants without UK foundation programme experience within 3.5 years of the start date will need to submit a Certificate of Readiness to Enter Specialty Training (CREST), completed by a consultant who has worked with the applicant for at least three months within the relevant period.

The vacancy is in Vascular Surgery at STR level, requiring 4 years of postgraduate experience.
