We'd all like amazing work to do, and real work-life balance. That's waiting for you at Sainsbury's. Everything our Nectar team does is powered and fuelled by data - and by great relationships with some of the UK's favourite brands. The Nectar 360 team focuses on developing loyalty programmes, turning amazing data into something that makes a difference, traditional media and digital. It's like an agency-within-a-retailer, and retail media is crucial. The culture might not be what you expect either, because there's no set-up quite like this one. The team is a real priority because it's connected to everything the business does, and drives profitability. It's where you can take risks, learn from them and be recognised.

Joining Nectar360 means being part of an innovative and dynamic agency at the forefront of loyalty, insights, and retail media services. With Nectar, the UK's largest loyalty program, and our expertise in managing Argos shopper marketing services, we have unparalleled access to rich transactional and lifestyle data, enabling us to create impactful and relevant customer experiences for our brand partners.

In this fast-paced and collaborative environment, we encourage innovation, autonomy and future thinking, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve. As a Senior Client Executive, you will have the opportunity to develop deep client relationships, deliver annual revenue targets and be at the forefront of shaping multi-channel campaigns that utilise new tech and media opportunities. Join us and be part of a team where innovation thrives, and your contribution makes a real difference in the competitive landscape.

What you'll do

This Senior Client Executive in the Non Food Grocery team has a unique set of requirements. Your primary responsibility will be to develop a deep understanding of our business and capabilities, as well as Sainsbury's, so that you and the wider team can effectively manage client relationships and deliver on annual revenue targets.

Your time will be split across 2 sub teams, with the ambition that you perform a couple of different functions:

  • Ownership on 2-3 key client accounts. One of these will be our largest account and will provide a valuable opportunity for you to be involved in delivering some Best in Class activations end-to-end across our store media and digital propositions.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to identify revenue opportunities and apply Nectar360 solutions based on their objectives; grow your Client Service skills with a view to professional development into future roles within our business.
  • Support function across the team for more admin-based tasks essential to maintaining strong service levels for clients, including but not limited to:
    • Management of compliance reporting across campaign activity for a range of clients across our Categories
    • Maintenance of status and activation trackers
    • Delivery and write-up of campaign evaluation across store channels, targeted media and offsite data-driven digital campaigns
    • Monitoring results performance and optimisation recommendations in our Ecommerce platform
    • Creation and maintenance of client-facing collateral (eg Ratecards, Events, Deadlines, Case Studies, Decks)

As part of this dual-function, you will be a really important conduit across the team and with members of our wider virtual team. A real can-do attitude, proactive approach and strong sense of accountability will ensure this role is a success.

Requirements
  • Client Management Experience: 1-2 years of previous client management experience with a proven track record of building strong client relationships and delivering against annual revenue targets.
  • Marketing & Retail Knowledge: Solid understanding of marketing practices and the retail landscape
  • Project & Communication Skills: Strong project management, communication, and presentation skills to manage client activity within budget and timelines.
