Senior Claims Broker

Our client is looking for an experienced Financial Lines Senior Claims Broker to join their team based in London.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers, and Crime claims. You will work directly with Wholesale and Retail clients to achieve optimal outcomes.

You will provide expert advice, liaise with insurers and legal representatives, and handle claims efficiently. The role also involves fostering positive relationships and supporting key projects.

The role will involve:

• Negotiating with markets to secure the best outcomes for clients.
• Preparing and presenting comprehensive claims documents to underwriters, addressing queries, and providing feedback.
• Maintaining up-to-date records on company systems and ensuring all claims processes comply with requirements.
• Resolving client and insurer queries, keeping all parties informed, and supporting less experienced team members' development as needed.
• Advising clients, insurers, and collaborators of developments, liaising with third parties as necessary.

To be considered, you should have previous claims-handling experience with Professional Indemnity, Cyber, or D&O Claims. Experience across all lines would be advantageous. Ideally, you will have worked with an international broker and possess a strong understanding of insurance principles and London market operations (Lloyd's and company markets).
