Job Description

Are you an innovative senior civil or structural engineer or consultant capable of agile, lateral thinking? Do you enjoy applying and developing technical leadership and engineering management skills to deliver exciting projects?

Are you chartered with a recognised civil or structural engineering institution (such as IStructE, ICE, or similar)? Do you want to invigorate your career with new projects within a buoyant industry? If so, we would like to hear from you.

We are seeking full-time senior civil and structural engineers to join our growing team in Epsom, supporting a range of new build nuclear projects including Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C, SMRs, and future fusion reactor technologies. You will cultivate strong relationships, reinforce your technical skills, and apply your management expertise to deliver outstanding results. You will work a minimum of 3 days per week from a Power New Build office or client site.

Your Purpose:

Experience in any of the following would be beneficial but not mandatory:

  • Relevant professional experience in civil-structural design and analysis (steelwork and reinforced concrete), R&D, project engineering, or design consultancy.
  • Ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary projects.
  • Leadership in design of new building structures and project ownership.
  • Experience in highly regulated environments such as nuclear, power, or rail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across offices and client sites to meet client needs and deliver on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Experience in writing bids and tenders.
  • Management, leadership, and mentoring skills.
