Senior Civil Engineer Nottingham

Our client are growing, and they're looking for a talented Civil Engineer to join the Nottingham office. If you're passionate about delivering high quality engineering solutions and want to be part of a collaborative, forward thinking consultancy, this is an opportunity to make a real impact.

You'll work as part of our established Civil Engineering team, contributing to a wide range of projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed use sectors. From concept design through to detailed engineering and construction support, you'll play a key role in shaping sustainable, buildable, and innovative solutions for our clients.

• Producing civil engineering designs, drawings, and reports for drainage, highways, earthworks, and infrastructure projects

• Using industry standard software such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, and AutoCAD

• Supporting senior engineers with design development and project delivery

• Liaising with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders

• Preparing technical submissions, including planning and Section 38/104/278 applications

• Contributing to a positive team culture and helping to mentor junior staff where appropriate

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline

• Experience in a consultancy environment (we're open to different levels of experience)

• Working knowledge of UK design standards and approval processes

• Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem solving mindset

• Progress toward professional accreditation (IEng/CEng) is desirable but not essential
