Senior Civil Engineer Basingstoke £45,000 - £55,000105269We're partnered with a long-established, multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Basingstoke. They're looking for a Senior Civil Engineer with a Drainage & Infrastructure focus to join and help lead their growing design and delivery team.This role offers true project ownership from bid stage to delivery, combining hands-on technical responsibility with the opportunity to mentor others and progress into a leadership position.The role:

• Prepare detailed designs for infrastructure projects, delivering drainage, highways, residential developments, rail, commercial, education and leisure.
• Produce drawings and calculations for planning.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior colleagues, helping them develop practical, high-quality solutions.
• Produce flood risk assessments and planning documents.
• Conduct inspections, site surveys, and technical assessments, producing detailed reports to inform design and project delivery.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities and stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

• Fluent in Causeway Flow or MicroDrainage.
• Skilled in AutoCAD and Civil 3D for drainage design on residential, rail, commercial, and similar projects.
• Knowledge of flood risk assessments and relevant planning documents.
• Someone with client-focused approach, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
