We are looking to appoint an exceptional Senior Civil Engineer to work across an array of projects within our experienced team in London.

Working as an integral part of the team, you will play a key part in delivering major Highways/Public Realm and/or Infrastructure/Drainage projects (including Residential, Custodial, Healthcare, Education, MOJ, Commercial, Leisure, Parliament). You can expect to become involved in:

1. Producing technical designs, specifications, and reports for a variety of projects in size, type, and complexity, both single discipline and multi-disciplinary.
2. Mentoring and managing your design sub-team, including project programming, planning, and resource management.
3. Bidding, fee preparation, and client meetings.

Your core duties will include:

1. Assisting in achieving discipline business plan targets through developing new and existing business relationships, supporting senior leadership.
2. Delivering and maintaining technical standards on your projects.
3. Promoting high standards of design aligned with client briefs and project timelines.

About You

The successful candidate will have significant, proven experience, and be passionate about civil engineering.

In order to be considered for this role, you must have:

• A degree or equivalent in civil engineering or related field, working towards a professional qualification.
• Experience managing civil engineering schemes and bespoke projects.
• Good knowledge of industry design software packages.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

It would be nice for you to have:

• Incorporated/Chartered membership of ICE.
• Experience with various contract types.
• Confidence liaising with clients and building rapport with internal and external teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and accountability.
• Experience in report writing, presentations, and work-winning activities.
• The ability to lead a sub-team focused on high-quality design delivery.
