£550 - £600pd DOE (Inside IR35)

6 month initial contract

Ideally SC/DV Cleared (Need to be eligible if not)

My central Government client is looking for an experienced Citrix SME to be responsible for the stability, performance and ongoing support of secure Citrix virtual applications and desktop environment.

You will be operating within a highly regulated setting, and the role will focus on maintaining reliable end user access to critical services while ensuring platform resilience and security.

You will provide expert troubleshooting, support platform improvements, and contribute to operational documentation and knowledge transfer. The role requires strong hands on Citrix experience and the ability to work effectively in a controlled, service managed environment.

Experience Required:

• Extensive experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
• Design, build, upgrade and support of Citrix environments
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting in high availability environments
• Integration with Active Directory and secure access solutions
• Understanding of user experience optimisation in virtual desktop platforms
• Experience operating Citrix in secure or government environments (desirable)
• Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA V)

Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA V)

• Core administration of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
• Day to day operational support and troubleshooting

Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP V)

• Advanced configuration, optimization and complex troubleshooting
• Strong indicator of enterprise scale Citrix experience

Citrix Certified Expert - Virtualization (CCE V) (desirable for senior SMEs)

• Architecture level knowledge
• Suitable for complex, high availability environments
