Supporting children aged 7-17 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Mild Learning Difficulties

Are you an experienced and passionate Residential Childcare Practitioner ready to take the next step in your career? • Provide high-quality, consistent care and support to children aged 7 to 17
• Work closely with your team to create a nurturing, safe, and structured environment
• Support young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs
• Promote positive routines, independence, and emotional well being
• Be a positive role model and help young people thrive

• Hours: 8am - 8pm shifts
• Contract Options: 36, 40 or 48 hours per week
• Sleep ins: 8-10 per month (as per rota)
• Hourly Rate: £14.50
• Sleep in Rate: £52 per night. Overtime and additional shifts available.

Essential Requirements:

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent recognised Level 3 qualification)
• Experience working in residential childcare or a related field
• Full UK driving licence
• Minimum age: 21 (in line with Ofsted requirements)

Desirable:

• Experience supporting children with complex emotional needs
• A calm, consistent, and nurturing approach
