Senior CDM Principal Designer

A forward-thinking CDM specialist consultancy is looking for a motivated CDM Principal Designer to join their social team in Bedford. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving consultancy focused exclusively on design risk and CDM compliance.

The CDM Principal Designer's role

The CDM Principal Designer will work closely with clients and design teams to ensure risk is effectively managed from concept design through to handover. You'll provide expert advice, prepare CDM documentation, and take the lead on multiple medium to large scale projects.

The CDM Principal Designer

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate (required)
• Tech IOSH (minimum)
• APS membership (preferred)
• Design degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Surveying (preferred)
• 3 years' minimum experience delivering PD duties
• Excellent working knowledge of CDM regulations and design risk
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
