Position Summary EDAO (European Digital Appliances Office) offers leadership, guidance, expertise and support of the Business and Product Marketing strategies for Samsung Electronics Home Appliances across Europe. We take full responsibility for the total business performance of Samsung across 17 subsidiaries within Europe. Home Appliances is one of the fastest growing businesses within Samsung Electronics and EDAO helps define and drive Global Strategy into local execution. Additionally, it leads the broader product, sales, retail and marketing community to deliver excellence in execution. Role and Responsibilities # What we need for this roleTo be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes: A very hands-on approach with strong ability to make data-driven recommendations on product and sales strategy Attention to detail, both in numbers and in product specification, line-up architecture, competitive benchmarking. Ability to generate product and commercial insights by dissecting and triangulating multiple data and information sources (such as market data, sales data, competitor bench marketing, line-up specifications). Cross functional experience with solid foundation in product management but also brings comprehensive understanding of commercial drivers behind any business Built in product experience is a requirement and kitchen channel experience is a plus Product categories: BI ovens, hobs, MWO and hoods, BI dishwashers, BI refrigeration Collaborative personality that is able to work in partnership with local PMs across European countries and Product planning/R&D functions based in Korea. Line up optimisation and competitiveness - Analyse new and existing lineup specifications, price positioning and competitive benchmark and develop recommendations to optimise lineup and roadmap planning Launch Excellence - Pre launch planning and Post launch tracking. Ensuring complete delivery of all required launch tools to maximise market impact and investment efficiency Removing operational barriers - Project management/tracking of removal of operational hurdles (supply chain, after sales service, financial processes etc) Operational efficiency - Find opportunities for increased sharing of models and lineups across European subs Kitchen Fit - Improve install ability of Samsung Built in Lineup by collecting VOC, analysing needs and track implementation of changes in specifications and information/assets Be an advocate for a broad approach to Built in category in product / lineup development, design language, asset creation Kitchen ambassador - be a spokesperson internally for the needs of the Kitchen channel, drive and implement initiatives to enable channel expansion Market Knowledge - analyse, understand and interpret market research data and competitor analysis to shape and steer the business direction. Identify new opportunities or corrective actions to existing business to ensure the business stays agile and is always able to capitalise on changing market dynamics.
