Responsibilities:

• Perform and interpret complex diagnostic procedures, including echocardiograms, ECGs, and stress tests.
• Assist in invasive cardiology procedures such as cardiac catheterizations and pacemaker implantations.
• Analyze and report on diagnostic findings to inform patient treatment plans.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff and trainee cardiac physiologists.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and protocols

Requirements:

• BSc in Clinical Measurement, Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cardiac physiologist role.
• Current professional registration.
• Full driving license and access to own car is desirable.
• Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
• All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
• Candidates who have lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months over the age of 16 will be required to produce International Police Clearance. Failure to have this document during the initial recruitment stages will result in an unsuccessful application.
