This is a *Amsterdam* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working on *turning business strategies into solid financial plans and providing key insights to support decision-making*.

The Role

Our client is looking for a Senior Business Controller to support their team for 6 months. You'll be the finance partner for a specific department or business unit, owning the planning and control cycle. You'll turn business strategies into solid financial plans and provide key insights to support decision-making.

This role involves budgeting, financial reporting, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and advising stakeholders on performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and budgeting

• Analyze results and provide actionable insights

• Build business cases to guide decisions

• Identify and drive cost optimization

• Advise and challenge senior stakeholders

• Collaborate across finance, operations, and procurement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

• 5-8 years of experience in financial planning or business control

• Strong financial and Excel skills

• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management

• Able to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
