Senior Business Analyst (Onsite) - Strasbourg, France

Location: Strasbourg, France (100% Onsite)

Contract: Full-Time Freelance

Daily Rate: Up to €550/day (maximum)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a high-profile international project based onsite in Strasbourg. This is a Full time position requiring close collaboration with technical and business stakeholders in a multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse functional and non-functional IT requirements, ensuring project teams have a clear understanding of business needs and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to capture, validate and document business requirements.
• Contribute to low-level solution design and architectural discussions.
• Perform business risk analysis and maintain requirements traceability.
• Analyse and define specifications for integrations with other applications and technology components.
• Work closely with Enterprise and Solution Architects to develop models using recognised modelling tools.
• Support system testing, deployment, technical documentation, user training and reporting.
• Deliver coaching and training on business analysis techniques to administrators and users.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 6 years' experience in IT, including at least 3 years as a Business Analyst.
• Minimum 2 years' experience using UML and modelling techniques.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Hands-on experience with modelling and design tools such as ARIS, Enterprise Architect (EA) or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of UML and good understanding of relational database systems.
• Experience applying architectural principles to business and functional solutions.
• Proven experience supporting testing, documentation, deployment, training and reporting activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong documentation capabilities.
• Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.

Important Information

• This is a full-time, onsite role based in Strasbourg, France. Remote or hybrid working is not available.
• The maximum daily rate for this position is €550.
• Only EU nationals will be considered for this opportunity.
