We are partnered with an innovative and forward thinking organisation based in Surrey, seeking to hire an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong focus on Business Intelligence. The Role: As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be a key part of the Business Intelligence team, working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and transform data into meaningful insights. Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with business users to understand reporting needs and business drivers
- Designing and implementing scalable data models that align with business requirements
- Building and maintaining data warehouses to facilitate self service analytics through PowerBI
- Managing and optimising ETL pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Factory and SSIS
- Enhancing data visualisation capabilities and driving best practices in reporting
- Ensuring data integrity, compliance with GDPR, and robust data security measures
- Performing database administration, query optimisation, and performance monitoring
- 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role with a focus on BI and Data Analytics
- Proficiency with PowerBI, Excel, and SSRS for business reporting and analysis
- Solid understanding of SQL, DAX, and ETL processes
- Experience with PowerBI data flows and deployment pipelines
- Exposure to Scripting and automation with Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Ideally, PL 300 Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (not essential but highly advantageous)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
