Role Overview

As a Senior Azure Consultant, you will lead the design and delivery of complex Azure solutions spanning cloud platform, data, and AI initiatives. You will work directly with client stakeholders to shape solutions, drive architecture decisions, and guide delivery teams to successful outcomes. While your primary focus will be on architecture and leadership, you will also remain technically hands on to ensure quality and accelerate project delivery. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, client engagement, and deep technical expertise in Azure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of enterprise Azure solutions, aligning with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Well Architected Framework principles.
• Define architecture for landing zones, platform infrastructure, identity, networking, security, governance, and operating models.
• Produce and own High Level and Low Level Designs, and lead architecture reviews and technical decision making.
• Guide the implementation of enterprise landing zones, hybrid connectivity, and identity/access models using Microsoft Entra ID.
• Establish Infrastructure as Code standards (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) and support DevOps and platform engineering practices.
• Design and oversee modern Azure data solutions, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Data Lake, and integration architectures.
• Lead AI enabled solution architecture, covering Azure OpenAI, RAG architectures, copilots, intelligent apps, and responsible AI practices.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and act as the primary technical authority while mentoring delivery teams.
• Support pre sales activities, shape technical solutions, contribute to proposals, and help develop reusable patterns and accelerators.

About the Candidate

• Holds a 2:1 degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6-10+ years' experience delivering Microsoft Azure solutions.
• AZ 305 (Azure Solutions Architect Expert) and AZ 104 (Azure Administrator) certifications required; Fabric, Databricks, or AI related certifications are beneficial.
• Strong architecture expertise in Azure networking, hybrid connectivity, Entra ID security, landing zones, and governance.
• Skilled in Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices within Azure environments.
• Proven track record in client facing consulting roles.
• Experience leading technical workstreams or serving as an architect on complex projects.
• Hands on experience designing or delivering solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, or Azure OpenAI/AI enabled applications.
• Solid understanding of modern data architectures and AI integration patterns, with breadth across Cloud, Data, and AI.
