This opportunity would be ideal for a Senior/Project Architect with proven experience in defence/secure environments (and wider public/commercial sectors) who is confident using Revit and AutoCAD (BIM experience desirable).

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm, with Hybrid working

Duties

• Lead architectural projects (Up to £10m in value) across multiple sectors, including sensitive/secure defence schemes.
• Interpret complex client briefs and deliver strategic, compliant design responses.
• Act as Lead Consultant, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, external consultants and contractors.
• Produce site appraisals, feasibility studies, planning applications and detailed designs for competitive tender.
• Manage tender processes, value engineering, post-tender analysis and recommendations.
• Serve as Project Manager / Contract Administrator through delivery: site progress, technical compliance, QA and financial performance.

Requirements

• ARB Registered and Qualified Architect with a minimum of 5 years' experience post qualification
• Proven experience in defence or other secure, policy-driven environments is beneficial
• Ability to secure UK security clearance to SC level is essential
• Fully proficient user of Revit and AutoCAD
• Excellent design experience from feasibility to technical delivery (Riba Stages 1 - 5)
• Comfortable delivering within client-prescribed frameworks, QA systems and sector standards (e.g., MOD / JSP)
• Great communication skillset and a supportive and collaborative mentor - supporting BD activity, resource planning, profitability and cross-office teamwork
