Why This Role?

We're looking for a Senior Application Modernisation Architect to help organisations unlock greater value from their application estate. Working across both pre-sales and delivery, you'll engage directly with customers, shape modernisation strategies, influence technical decisions and help deliver transformational cloud-native solutions. This is an opportunity to combine architecture, consulting and hands on technical expertise while helping build and grow a rapidly expanding practice.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead customer discovery workshops to understand application landscapes, business challenges and transformation goals
• Shape application modernisation strategies and cloud adoption roadmaps aligned to business outcomes
• Design modern application solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure and cloud-native technologies
• Support technical sales activities through solution design, proposals, presentations and customer demonstrations
• Develop Statements of Work including scope, assumptions, delivery approach and effort estimation
• Conduct application portfolio assessments, dependency analysis and modernisation planning
• Define migration and transformation approaches using recognised frameworks including 7Rs
• Provide architectural guidance across modernisation and software development initiatives
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation
• Contribute to service development, sales enablement content, case studies and solution accelerators
