Equifax is seeking a driven and insightful Senior Analyst to join our dynamic Client Analytics team within the Data and Analytics (D&A) division. This is a pivotal role where you will directly contribute to our success by supporting a wide range of analytical projects, engaging with key external clients, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive revenue deliverables for Equifax UK.

What you'll do:
As a Senior Analyst, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-impact analytical support and project analysis to our external clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Client-Focused Analytics: Addressing client queries related to CRA (Credit Reference Agency) data characteristics and scores, providing expert insights and solutions.

• Project Delivery: Playing a key role in diverse analytical projects, including credit strategy development, model development, and bespoke analytics tailored to solve specific client problems.

• Data-Driven Problem Solving: Performing in-depth analysis of multiple data sources, utilising statistical analysis and programming to address complex business issues.

• Insight Communication: Translating analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations that enable clients to make improved business decisions and enhance profitability.

• Technical Expertise: Employing data mining tools and programming languages (Python, SQL, and SAS) to prepare and analyse data for critical business decision-making.

• Solution Development: Collaborating to design and deliver robust analytical and commercial solutions for both internal and external clients, aligning business requirements with data knowledge and existing processes.

What experience you need:
We are looking for a candidate with a strong analytical aptitude and a proactive approach:

• A relevant numerical degree, achieving a 2:1 or higher.

• Proven experience in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and SAS, ideally applied within a credit risk environment.

• An innovative mindset, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage with team members, clients, and business leaders at various levels.

What could set you apart:
While not essential, the following experience would be highly advantageous:

• Demonstrable experience in formulating credit policies and contributing to scorecard development.

• Previous experience working directly with credit bureau data.
