Job Description

We are recruiting a Senior Analytical Development (AD) Chemist to join our MS&T Analytical Development team in Blanchardstown, Dublin. The role focuses on method development, validation, and analytical troubleshooting to support current commercial processes and new chemical entities under transfer to commercial operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support to projects - develop analytical methods for raw material, intermediate, in process or API methods.
• Support projects that focus on current commercial processes or new chemical entities under transfer to commercial organization.
• Ensure all analytical work is documented appropriately (Laboratory Notebook, Memo, Report).
• Contribute to the identification of unknowns, for example by using LCMS applicable methods and LC.
• Maintain competency in key analytical techniques including HPLC (Reverse Phase, Chiral, etc.) with UV, PDA and MS detection, GC with FID and MS detection, TLC, Particle Size, ICP, IR, UV, Titrimetry, and Colorimetry.
• Communicate analytical results effectively within MS&T and across functional areas.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. degree in Science with an analytical focus and expertise in Analytical Validation requirements.
• Relevant experience working in a GLP environment is essential.
