Senior Accountant or Accounts Manager - Independent accounting firm
Weybridge, Surrey (Hybrid)
£45,000 - £65,000

We are recruiting on behalf of a well established accountancy practice with strong presence across Surrey. They offer genuine flexibility, hybrid working arrangements, and clear long term development opportunities.

The firm now seeks an experienced Senior Accountant looking to take a step up or an existing Accounts/Client Manager to take a pivotal position. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants variety, client ownership, and the ability to develop their role -whether that's technical progression, leadership, or expanding into specialist service lines.

About the Role

  • Supervising and reviewing work produced by junior team members across the department
  • Providing clear and proactive advice to clients on technical and commercial matters
  • Preparing or reviewing management accounts and corporation tax returns
  • Supporting the development of junior staff, including mentoring and on the job training
About You
  • Ideally ACA/ACCA fully qualified with at least 5+ years' experience working in a UK based practice environment as either a Senior or Manager
  • Solid understanding of year end statutory accounts, VAT, and taxation fundamentals
  • Ability to review work effectively and support junior team members
  • Confidence communicating with clients and building long term relationships
  • A collaborative approach and keen eye for detail
What's on Offer
  • Hybrid and flexi hours working arrangements
  • A supportive, people focused team culture
  • Exposure to a wide mix of work and clients
  • Opportunities for career progression and specialisation
