What we're looking for

Our US-based client, an e-commerce brand in rapid growth mode, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support core financial operations-from journal entries and reconciliations to managing AP and tax compliance. This role is crucial to maintaining accurate books, ensuring tax alignment, and supporting ongoing financial reporting across multiple channels. It's a hands-on position for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and is excited to help build scalable accounting processes from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Own the AP function, including vendor payments and company credit card management via Ramp
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts during the monthly close process
• Support the preparation of financial statements and assist with internal reporting for management
• Assist with tax compliance and filings, including sales tax via Avalara
• Analyze financial data, perform ad hoc analysis, and help streamline month-end processes using Numeric

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a corporate setting
• Background in e-commerce or consumer packaged goods (CPG) is required
• Independent, self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Google Sheets (Excel-level fluency required)
• Meticulous attention to detail and data accuracy
• Solid understanding of US GAAP, income statements, balance sheets, and accounting workflows
• Experience working with large datasets and delivering actionable analysis

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with tools such as Avalara, Ramp, Numeric, and the Google Suite
• Experience in a remote, lean, and fast-paced environment
