Senior Account Executive / Director - Commercial

Salary: Circa £75,000

Location: Buckinghamshire

We are seeking an experienced commercial insurance professional to drive new business growth while managing and developing an established client portfolio.

This is a strategic, client-facing role combining business development, relationship management, and market expertise. You will act as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored insurance solutions, leading renewals, and identifying opportunities to add value and secure long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and win new commercial insurance business.
• Manage and retain a portfolio of clients through consultative service.
• Lead renewal negotiations and secure competitive market terms.
• Maintain strong insurer relationships and market insight.
• Ensure full compliance with FCA and regulatory requirements.
• Support and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• Proven commercial insurance Account Executive experience.
• Strong track record in new business generation.
• Solid knowledge of insurance markets and underwriting.
• Experience managing client portfolios and renewals.
• CII / ACII qualified (or working towards).
• CRM and insurance system proficiency (Acturis desirable).
