Senior Account Executive - B2B Travel, London or EU based

This is a unique opportunity to work in one of the company's most important strategic priority areas. The role, reporting to the Director, Issuer Development & Management within the Global B2B Travel team, will be responsible for managing key partnerships and enabling growth across our portfolio of B2B Travel issuers.
What we expect of you, day to day.
- Own client relationship with our key B2B travel issuer businesses, working closely with both global and regional teams.
- Maximise revenue opportunities by leading, in partnership with regional colleagues, the creation and delivery of client strategic and tactical account plans.
- Drive business expansion across product and new markets.
- Recognize opportunities early and engage the best Visa resources to drive deals forward.
- Support contract negotiations and involvement in all major B2B travel issuer structural changes or account restructures.
- Analyse client data and react quickly to account or market changes that may impact profitability.
- Identify new and ongoing client requirements, introduce new B2B products and services as appropriate, demonstrating expert knowledge of Visa's solutions.
- Collaborate with the B2B & Commercial product teams to evolve the value proposition, products, and platforms globally to meet client and market needs.
- Engage with cross-functional colleagues including Marketing and Communications to deliver effective client and industry messaging.
- Stay current with industry and client trends, maintaining strong knowledge of Visa products and services.
- Meet and exceed individual volume targets.
Experience
- B2B payments experience, ideally in B2B Travel, with a background in business development and account management roles, preferably within a large Online Travel Agency (OTA) or a commercial issuer.
- Proven track record of supporting complex client deals or partnerships from negotiation to delivery, with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to support data-led strategies for deepening client relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to build relationships and influence within Visa's matrixed structure, across functions and regions.
- A team player with a positive attitude, eager to learn and adapt.
- Strong communication skills (written, oral, presentation) capable of explaining complex concepts clearly.
Knowledge Focus Areas
- Understanding of virtual card payment flows and/or travel booking flows.
- Ability to own end-to-end client relationships from a B2B Travel perspective, working collaboratively across Visa functions to build a network, solve problems, and represent Visa externally.
- Passion for Payments, Fintech, and the Travel ecosystem, with client-relationship skills, presence, and knowledge of B2B Travel payment strategies and priorities. Resilience and ability to execute on revenue goals are essential.
