SEND Teaching Assistant (Driver Required) - Hexham (Full-Time)

Do you have access to your own vehicle and want a rewarding role supporting young people with additional needs?

A specialist SEND provision in Hexham is looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. Due to the school's location and limited public transport links, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

You'll support pupils with Autism, ADHD and complex learning needs, helping them access education and achieve positive outcomes.

Location: Hexham
Pay: £92.63 - £105 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
Essential: Driver with access to own vehicle

• Providing tailored 1:1 support
• Assisting pupils throughout the school day
• Supporting communication and interaction
• Encouraging independence and engagement
• Supporting emotional regulation
• Working alongside experienced SEND professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
