Job Opportunity: Preparing for Adulthood (PfA) Manager

Contract: 6 Months

Location: London (Local Authority)

Rate: Up to £360 per day

Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week (non-negotiable)

Panoramic Associates is working with a London-based local authority with their search for a PfA Manager to lead a small team of SEND Case Officers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support a team of 3 SEN Officers.
• Act as the escalation point for complex cases.
• Oversee the cessation of EHCPs in line with statutory guidance.
• Manage complex cases when required.
• Lead on Preparing for Adulthood strategies, ensuring smooth transitions for post-16 learners.
• Demonstrate team management experience within a Local Authority SEND service.
• Develop a strong understanding of post-16 SEND pathways.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of EHCP processes, particularly around ceasing plans and transition planning.

Qualifications / Experience

• Experience of leading a SEND service within a Local Authority.
• Strong understanding of post-16 SEND pathways and EHCP processes.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a small team of officers.
