Primary School SENDCO - Sheerness

We are seeking a full-time SENDCO to join a welcoming primary school in Sheerness. The successful candidate will lead SEND provision across the school, ensuring pupils with additional needs receive appropriate, inclusive support in line with the SEND Code of Practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate SEND provision and EHCPs
• Support staff with inclusive teaching strategies
• Liaise with parents and external professionals
• Monitor pupil progress and maintain SEND records
• Advise senior leaders on SEND matters

Essential Requirements:

• QTS
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND
• Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice

Brief SENDCO Day-to-Day:

• Reviewing SEND plans and EHCPs
• Supporting staff and pupils
• Meeting with parents and professionals
• Coordinating support staff
