Teaching Assistant (Primary & Secondary)

Location: East Grinstead
Pay: £120 per day
Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm
Contract: Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to support pupils across both primary and secondary phases within a specialist education setting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

The Role

You will:

  • Support pupils in lessons and around the school environment.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging learning activities.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
  • Build trusting relationships with pupils.
  • Support students with social, emotional and educational development.
  • Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for individuals who:

  • Have experience working with children or young people.
  • Are patient, resilient and compassionate.
  • Have strong communication skills.
  • Can build positive relationships quickly.
  • Have experience within education, care, support work, residential care or youth work (desirable but not essential).
