Salary: £95-£115 per day

TeacherActive is working with a SEND setting in Stoke-on-Trent that supports pupils of mixed ages with a range of additional needs. The setting is looking for committed and adaptable staff who can provide a positive and supportive learning environment.

The SEND Teaching Assistant role offers both day-to-day and long-term opportunities, providing flexibility depending on your availability. You will support pupils with mixed SEND needs, helping them engage with learning, follow routines and develop their confidence and independence.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND
• Experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
• A good understanding of safeguarding and supporting vulnerable pupils
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEND
