We're recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within a nurturing mainstream school. This rewarding role involves working closely with children who have Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, learning difficulties, and other additional needs, helping them thrive both academically and socially.
Whether you're an experienced SEN TA, Learning Support Assistant, graduate, or have experience supporting children with additional needs, we'd love to hear from you.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll provide tailored support to pupils both inside and outside the classroom. You'll work closely with teachers and the SENCO to adapt learning activities, promote inclusion and help pupils achieve their individual learning goals.
Your ResponsibilitiesSupport pupils with SEN on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
Assist children with Autism (ASC), ADHD and additional learning needs
Adapt learning resources to meet individual needs
Encourage positive behaviour and classroom participation
Promote communication, confidence and independence
Support pupils' emotional, social and academic development
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and parents where appropriate
We're Looking ForApplications are welcomed from:
- SEN Teaching Assistants
- Learning Support Assistants (LSAs)
- Teaching Assistants
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN
- Positive, caring and proactive approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for inclusive education
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Previous school-based SEN experience
- Autism (ASC), ADHD or speech and language support
- Childcare or Education qualifications
