We're looking for caring, proactive & enthusiastic people to join our team and support pupils in SEND schools from September 2026.
Whether you're an experienced TA, looking for your first role in education, or thinking about a future career in teaching, we'd love to hear from you.
You don't have to come from a traditional education background either. Creative graduates from art, drama, dance, music, theatre and the performing arts can make fantastic SEN TAs too. If you're confident, adaptable, creative and good at building relationships, your skills could be exactly what a child needs.
We'd also love to hear from people with backgrounds in youth work, care, coaching, mentoring, support work or mental health.
Your role could include:- Supporting pupils one-to-one or in small groups
- Helping children build confidence, independence and communication skills
- Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, ASD and PMLD
- Helping pupils regulate emotions and engage in learning
- Building positive relationships with pupils and school staff
- Working alongside teachers and specialist SEND teams
- Patient, kind and resilient
- Proactive and ready to get stuck in
- Calm under pressure and adaptable
- Creative thinkers who can try different approaches
- Great at building relationships
- Keen to develop a career in education
- Available to start in September 2026

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
