SEN Teaching Assistant / Support Worker - Specialist Provision - Barnet Full Time Term Time Only September 2026 Starts Up to £120 per day Long Term Roles (Temp to Perm) Long Term Futures are recruiting a number of compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants / Support Workers to join a specialist provision in Barnet, supporting pupils with Autism (ASD), ADHD and additional learning needs. We have multiple vacancies available and are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a real difference to the lives of young people with additional needs. A background as a Support Worker, Care Worker, SEN Teaching Assistant or Healthcare Assistant would be highly desirable. Trial days will begin from 6th July, with successful candidates securing long-term roles for September 2026.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with ASD, ADHD and additional needs
• Support students with communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learning
• Work closely with teachers, therapists and SEN professionals
• Implement strategies linked to EHCPs and individual support plans
• Promote independence, confidence and positive behaviour
• Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment

Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, particularly ASD and ADHD
• Background as a Support Worker, Care Worker, SEN TA, Healthcare Assistant or Youth Worker (highly desirable)
• A calm, patient and resilient approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
