SEN Teaching Assistant

Vision for Education are on the hunt for an experienced Teaching Assistant with a background of working with children with Special Educational Needs within the Lichfield area to start from September 2026.
Location: Lichfield
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: £92 to £100 per day.
About the role- Working both one to one and in small groups with students with Special educational needs, outside of the classroom in a primary school setting.
- Supporting children by following EHCPs and school guidelines.
- Starting from the beginning of the new academic year, September 2026, as a day to day/part time member of staff with the potential to become a permanent member for the right fit.
- Working between school hours of 08 30, Monday to Friday up until the end of the Autumn term, December 2026.
To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Experience working with children or young people (preferably in an educational setting)
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
- Have or be able to obtain a DBS Certificate registered to the update service.
- Be able to gain at least two relevant references covering the last 2 years.
