SEN Teaching Assistant 2-1

Rikama Education Ltd. is currently working with a special school in Maidstone that is looking for a 2 1 Teaching Assistant with experience with challenging behaviour to start as soon as possible.

The school offers excellent facilities on an extremely large site and educates and cares for students (mixed boys and girls) aged from 4 to 19 with PMLD, complex needs, mental health conditions, challenging behaviour and who are on the autistic spectrum.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:

• Experience with a range of individual needs including PMLD mental health, ASD and challenging behaviour.
• Promoting positive behaviour and being able to manage challenging behaviour, supporting on either a 1 to 1 basis.
• Having excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A brilliant career with supportive SLT and school environment.
• Dedicated consultant, training and CPD courses, and a long term contract with potential to go permanent at this school.
• Excellent rates of pay.
