We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team, someone who is an outstanding classroom practitioner and has a passion for ensuring all pupils 'unleash their limitless potential'.
We are a specialist provision for students aged 11-19.
As an ASC/SLD teacher you will support pupils whose primary need relates to autism, including communication differences, sensory needs, social interaction challenges, and flexible/structured learning approaches and also severe learning difficulties.
Pupils with SLD generally have significant cognitive impairments that affect their ability to understand, learn, and retain information. They may need highly individualised, practical, and repetitive learning programmes.
Our staff take a creative approach in teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of personalised curriculums in a way that maximises achievement and personal development; skills in Primary Specialists would be beneficial and are favourable with our students' cognitive levels.
You will be expected to work across both sites as and when required.
