About the Role
At our specialist school, teaching is about so much more than delivering lessons. It's about unlocking potential, breaking down barriers and helping young people achieve things they never thought possible.
We're looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our exceptional team. Whether your experience is in primary or secondary education, if you thrive on adapting learning, building meaningful relationships and inspiring confidence, we want to hear from you.
This is a role where no two days are the same. You'll celebrate life-changing breakthroughs, nurture individual strengths and help students develop the skills, resilience and self-belief they need to succeed both in school and beyond.
Every day brings new opportunities. Every achievement is a milestone. Every child deserves someone who believes in them.
What you will be doing
Orchard Manor School, part of Options Autism, is a brand-new specialist school opening near King's Lynn in Downham Market. The school will cater for up to 72 students aged 5 to 16 with a variety of complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
Orchard Manor is an independent specialist school where the curriculum is thoughtfully designed around the specific needs of autistic learners and those with related needs. Education is supported by a fully integrated on-site clinical team, ensuring a holistic, person-centred approach to learning and wellbeing.
At Orchard Manor, we are committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every student is supported to achieve their full potential.
At Outcomes First Schools, we provide specialist education for learners who need a deeper level of understanding, expertise and support than mainstream education can typically offer. We support students with a wide range of complex, co-occurring and neurodivergent needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and communication needs, dyslexia and experiences of trauma or adversity.
We are proud to be a part of OFG Education who in 2025 were officially certified as a 'Great Place to Work' for the sixth year running.
Why Join Us?
We place students and vulnerable young adults at the heart of everything we do, so every day brings the satisfaction of making a real difference. We are committed to the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students and young people. All applicants will be subject to social media checks and successful applicants to a fully enhanced DBS.
OFG Education is committed to carrying out a fair, thorough and efficient recruitment process in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education. Whilst we aim to keep applicants informed throughout, OFG Education does not accept liability for any loss of earnings or other associated costs incurred by applicants as a result of delays or changes in the compliance process. All stages of the compliance process are subject to necessary safeguarding checks and compliance with statutory requirements, which may affect timescales.
