The school is committed to providing a nurturing, inclusive, and ambitious learning environment where every student is supported to achieve their individual potential and develop essential life skills.

  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, families, and external agencies to provide holistic support.
  • Develop and implement personalised learning programmes aligned with EHCP outcomes.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching approaches to maximise engagement and achievement.
  • Support the development of communication, social, emotional, sensory, and life skills alongside academic learning.
  • Contribute to annual reviews, transition planning, and wider school initiatives.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of teaching strategies for students with SLD, PMLD, and associated communication and sensory needs.
  • Be creative, patient, resilient, and adaptable in their approach to teaching and learning.
  • Have strong communication and collaborative working skills.
  • Be committed to inclusion, safeguarding, and achieving the best possible outcomes for every student.

What We Offer

  • A supportive and experienced multidisciplinary team.
  • Extensive opportunities for professional development and specialist SEN training.
  • Well-resourced classrooms and specialist facilities.
  • A collaborative and inclusive working culture.
