Job Title: SEN Teacher - Specialist Setting

Location: Driffield
Salary: £32,916 - £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full Time / Part Time
Start Date: Immediate or September 2026

GSL Education are recruiting a dedicated SEN Teacher to work within a specialist setting in Driffield.

About the School

This specialist provision supports pupils with a range of additional needs including SEMH, ASC and learning difficulties. The school provides a structured and nurturing environment focused on personalised learning, emotional wellbeing and pupil development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to pupil needs
• Support pupils with complex learning and behavioural needs
• Adapt teaching strategies to ensure engagement
• Work collaboratively with support staff
• Monitor and assess pupil progress

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working in SEN or specialist settings preferred
• Strong understanding of additional needs
• Patient and resilient approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
