Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Hours: 40.5 hours per week Monday 8.30am - 5.00pm Tuesday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
Contract: Permanent Term Time Only
Start: November 2026

What You'll Be Doing- Deliver engaging Music and/or ICT lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Create a positive, nurturing classroom environment where pupils feel safe, valued and motivated to learn.
- Plan and deliver innovative, differentiated lessons that enable every learner to achieve success.
- Monitor progress through meaningful assessment and adapt teaching strategies to maximise outcomes.
- Support pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development alongside their academic progress.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, carers and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Act as a Form Tutor where required, supporting EHCP reviews, pupil progress and parent communication.
- Promote positive behaviour through proactive, therapeutic and restorative approaches.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and help shape an exceptional learning experience for every pupil.
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent required.
- Has experience teaching Music, ICT, or both subjects.
- Believes every young person can achieve and reach their potential.
- Has strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.
- Is adaptable, resilient and committed to overcoming barriers to learning.
- Can deliver creative, engaging and personalised learning experiences.
Experience within an SEN or SEMH setting is desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from teachers who have the skills, enthusiasm and determination to make a positive difference.
