About the school

A well run, welcoming secondary school in Brent is recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils on a group basis from September 2026. The pupils are unable to access learning in the mainstream classroom and the school has created a specialist environment for support.

About the pupils

While predominately calm and settled, the pupils may experience moments of distress and occasional violence. The school has managed this for a number of years and has systems in place to help if these moments occur.

About the role

The student needs are varied and you will work alongside teaching staff, the SEN team, and external support agencies to ensure she is safe and supported appropriately.
